Happy 2009 !!!

It feels strange and sad that the machine from the future is a museum piece nowadays, and that its parts are sold on auctions and through websites. Almost like human organs, all in for the grabs. But much of the Concorde’s inside look like parts from a very old world. I am working on a major article about the 747 right now. It flew before the Concorde, even before Armstrong pee-pee’ed in his space suit on the Moon, but it is actually the fastest (and most beautiful) way to travel today. And it doesn’t consume more fuel per passenger than a small car, whatever the environmentalists so wrongly claim.
