arrived in taipei mad early yesterday, check out this picture i took
haha how funny is that, (i think the guy eating his sandwich did not want me to take that photo)
and that really shows how edgy and fun taipei is and random, which is the start of my journey of this trip.
after checking in to our hotel, i met up with ALAN the owner of LUXY. I knew Alan many years ago thru Annie Chang from Liquid Lifestyle Entertainment, he was one of the first people i worked with in Taipei, to do the ONE ENGINE TOUR if you guys can remember way back when. DJ TOMMY, EDISON, DJ HASEBE, MC YAN, CHEF, etc. that was a crazy blast. fast forward and now ALAN is running all the biggest events in Taipei, from the 50 cent concert, to the craziest parties, He will also be promoting the DJ TOMMY USB LAUNCH in TAIWAN in the mid of the month, so stay tuned for the party trailer and info on his website. With all the partying/working on his hand, and also an expecting father to be… congrats and good to see you.
at night, i had a real amazing time with JEFF HUANG. i would classify Jeff as the MAYOR of TAIWAN. i have known Jeff many years thru an introduction of a mutual friend. Jeff is the originator of LA Boys, then later onto Machi, but basically this dude got the keys to the city, and moves superbly sick in Taiwan, so it was really nice to catch up with you Jeff.
he took us to a really low key in the cut sushi joint that had some interesting rolls. this one we had was called the three in one roll (which is the title of this post, OBVIOUSLY) but also this roll was pretty crazy the way it tasted, with Toro, Uni, and some other fish inside, anyways just wanted to share this with you guys.
thanks for your hospitality in Taiwan and look forward to seeing you again, tonight is the next challenge the halloween party, so look forward to seeing you all out there tonight. wait wait and one last thing, after dinner walked around and saw this really amazing sculpture, really sums up my feeling for taiwan.
